      A: Essentially weight gainers are for anyone looking to add extra calories and other nutrients to their diet. Men and women. Particularly people in the fitness industry who are looking to add size and build strength. As you can imagine, it is much easier to mix-up a pre-made shake than it is to prepare a full course meal with all the equivalent nutrients.

      Additionally, because certain foods take a while to digest, and naturally it is hard to eat anything on a full stomach, weight gainers can play a key supplemental role in putting on mass. Those with small appetites will find a quick and efficient digesting quality weight gainer such as NEXTLVL GAINER especially useful.

      NOTE: Ectomorph body types, especially, stand to benefit more from weight gainers. As people with this body type typically have a harder time putting on weight.

      A: Maybe. The answer tends to depend on a lot of things. The first question we tend to ask people is how good of a diet do they adhere to on a regular basis. Simply put, are you consuming enough calories from whole foods?

      For weight gaining supplements to work most effectively, you must first have your meals in order. A weight gaining supplement is not a substitute for food, rather, it is just that "a supplement" to your existing nutritional intake via meals/food.

      TIP: If you can be honest with yourself in saying that you truly are eating a solid diet of 2500 – 3500 calories with plenty of protein, and quality fats and carbohydrates and you’re still not growing, then a weight gainer is probably what you need to tip the scale in your favor

      A: The GAINER is easy to mix and drink. Simply add three scoops to a blender filled with 24oz of water and blend for 45 to 60 seconds. If you don't have a blender, a quality protein shaker will suffice, follow the same procedure, and do the mixing by spoon or a protein shaker whisk.

      TIP: Mixing three scoops of NEXTLVL GAINER with 24oz of nonfat or low fat milk instead of water will give you a thicker, creamier, high calorie shake. 

      New users may find it beneficial to begin with 1/2 of a serving daily for the first week and then gradually increase to 1 or more full servings per day.

      A: The GAINER is is used to feed serious calorie needs in a variety of different ways. To maximize it's effectiveness you can start by consuming it once a day in the following ways:

      • Drink 1/2 to 1 serving of NEXTLVL GAINER 30 to 45 minutes following exercise to support maximum recovery.
      • Take 1/2 to 1 serving between meals to support a high calorie diet.
      • Drink 1/2 to 1 serving about 45 to 60 minutes before you go to bed, to provide nutrients which help muscles recover through the night.

      NOTE: For best results use NEXTLVL GAINER combined with intense weight training (3 to 5 times per week) and a sensible whole foods diet. Also keep in mind that sufficient recovery between workouts impacts your ability to gain lean mass.

      This is a formula that uses your Basal Metabolic Rate and then applies an activity factor to determine your total daily energy expenditure (calories). You use energy no matter what you're doing, even when sleeping. A BMR formula will calculate your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR); the number of calories you burn at rest.

      To determine your total daily calorie needs:

      Multiply your BMR by the appropriate activity factor, as follows:

      • If you are sedentary (little or no exercise) : BMR x 1.2
      • If you are lightly active (light exercise/sports 1-3 days/week) : BMR x 1.375
      • If you are moderately active (moderate exercise/sports 3-5 days/week) : BMR x 1.55
      • If you are very active (hard exercise/sports 6-7 days a week) : BMR x 1.725
      • If you are extra active (very hard exercise/sports & physical job or 2x training) : BMR x 1.9

      It is super important to understand how many calories you are taking in, and how many you should target for weight gain goals. Otherwise you are shooting an arrow blind folded, so to speak.

      A: Carbs, as they're called for short, are on of the essential elements in all fitness routines. This is because carbohydrates provide energy to fuel training and competition. Glycogen is a carbohydrate-replenished polysaccharide and your body's preferred source of energy.

      There are two types of carbs, fast carbs and slow carbs. The fast ones are best for replenishing glycogen post training or a competition. The slow carbs, typically derived from whole grains or vegetables, are the sustained energy providing ones your body depends on for fueling the next competition or workout. 

      A: Being adequately hydrated is super important. Hydration doesn't just provide your body with enough fluids while you are exercising, but also helps prevent subsequent illnesses and injuries.

      Some estimates state that even as small of a figure as 2% dehydration can have an adverse impact on your athletic performance.
